Learn to Love Again - Pink

Yes, we can always learn to love. Again and again, and again, and again and again, and again.

If it's up to me, I'll name this catchy song "Learn to Love Again". I love the part where she sang we're not broken just bent, we can learn to love again.

How true is that in our real life? We are inevitably social beings, and being social is all there is to life. I know some people are more social than others, but I think that only means differing degree of social preference between individuals.

Imagine a secluded life in the caves without anyone around. Or being deserted in an unknown island like Tom Hanks did. Even a volleyball can start becoming a bestie.

We humans, are uniquely created and made by God for the purpose of radiating His glory on earth. We are to reflect God's light and shine upon the darkness of the world. Having received God's strength and authority, we now have the Class A mission to spread the Message about God (ie. the bible) and build disciples. That's what Christianity has taught me.

I do think in any human relationship, fights and conflicts will always be there lurking in the corner. And I always believe that they are there for good reasons, which is to reveal the deepest desire or fear of the people we love the most (sometimes we think we know a lot about the people closest to us, but in fact we don't!!). Conflicts are there as a stepping stone, not a stumbling block.

Maybe, next time, when you got into a messy fight, hum this song we're not broken just bent, and we'll learn to love again. Leave all the negative emotions behind and cool yourself down. Remember, no fight can ever screw your relationship unless you have given up on it.

Also, no matter how messed up you feel now, remember, you're not broken just bent. And you'll learn to love again <3

Just Give Me A Reason - Pink (feat. Nate Ruess)

Right from the start
You were a thief
You stole my heart
And I your willing victim
I let you see the parts of me
That weren't all that pretty
And with every touch you fixed them

Now you've been talking in your sleep, oh, oh
Things you never say to me, oh, oh
Tell me that you've had enough
Of our love, our love

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
We're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

I'm sorry I don't understand
Where all of this is coming from
I thought that we were fine
(Oh, we had everything)
Your head is running wild again
My dear we still have everythin'
And it's all in your mind
(Yeah, but this is happenin')

You've been havin' real bad dreams, oh, oh
Used to lie so close to me, oh, oh
There's nothing more than empty sheets
Between our love, our love
Oh, our love, our love

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
I never stopped
You're still written in the scars on my heart
You're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Our tear ducts can rust
I'll fix it for us
We're collecting dust
But our love's enough
You're holding it in
You're pouring a drink
No nothing is as bad as it seems
We'll come clean

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Oh, we can learn to love again
Oh, we can learn to love again
Oh, oh, that we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
