Fight Fear!

Great post written by one warrior of God. She loves to write so much on her fb notes. Hope this can be a blessing to youuuuu yes you you guys who're currently paralyzed by any sort of fear. Don't be frozen. Melt your heart by God's warmth and confidence.

1 Peter 5:8
Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

The devil is like a crouching tiger. It will always wait until we're mentally/emotionally weak to pounce us down and eat whatever it can get from our soul. Coming to term with our fear is a huge battle of the mind. We're at war!

Don't believe anything the devil whispers on your ear and fall into his lies and deceptions. Fight fear!

Fear is an unsettle feeling that can cause us to panic.

Fear causes people to run, retreat or to shrink back.

Fear puts images in our mind that shows defeats & embarrassment.

Fear keeps people from enjoying their lives & making progress.

When we think about it, most problems that people are facing today are closely related with fear; fear of losing money, fear of being lonely, fear of not being accepted, fear of not being good enough, and the list goes on and on.

Living in fear is dangerous, it consumes our life. So how to fight fight fear?
Have faith like a child. Children tend to enjoy life, laugh a lot, and have freedom & confidence that comes from simply trusting their Father. Learn to have faith like a child; don’t let the world impact us so much that be become insecure & living in fear.
When fear kicks in, don’t hide and pity ourself too much but draw ourself closer to God; the only real source of peace. Keep feeding ourself with God’s promises for our lives & don’t leave any space for fear to take place. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid (John 14:27)
Don’t get too attached & comfortable. Remember that everything around us is temporary, so don’t get too attach to it that when those things are removed from our lives, we no longer have the ability to enjoy life. Our job, our family, our possessions might be nice and comforting, but we must put our firm faith in God alone; the only constant love that won’t change.

Lastly, fighting fear doesn’t mean we never feel fear; but it means that we will not let fear to rule our life. Fear may present itself as a feeling, but if we refuse to bow down to it, that is all it is…only a feeling !

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified, for God is with us; He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deut 31:6)

Have an enjoyable & fear-free day everyone :)
