Superman for Every One of Us


In every life process, there'll always be something that block our paths along the way. It's the indestructible wall, the stumbling block, the invisible tower. They are made from hardcore rocks that can only be trashed by a superpower. Superman, perhaps?

What is superpower?

From the rumors, we know that superpower enables us to fly. We can also read people's mind, foresee the future, see through the wall, speak in amazingly different language, and lastly, heal the incurables.


Superman, strong and powerful. Undefeatable and unrelenting. He's the Metropolis city's Mr Justice Checker. Well of course, in any superhero story, the good ones will always win at the end of the day. But just like any other story, they will possess one huge secret weakness that if known by the enemies can jeopardize the whole good-evil balance of the world.

Superman non-exempted. He's ready to save the world. But add a bit of love spark with the attractive lady, and witness how he'll risk everything even his own life to safe her from the dark power. Give him a prick of kryptonite and thou shall be gone. There goes the greatest JC of Metropolis.

But Mr Jesus Christ, our God in the Holy Trinity, is way way more powerful than that. Reading people's mind and predicting future happenings are His daily breads. He even predicted His own death! Seeing through mountains of defense of any fortress in any city is easy for Him. Destroying building is nothing. Once upon a time, when JC died on the cross, the sacred temple of God in Israel was split into half. Instantly.

Speaking in different language? As easy as flipping a hand. Wait until the power of Holy Spirit comes. Even us humans are able to speak in languages that we ourselves can't decipher (note: speaking in tongue), so I'm pretty sure Mr JC is able to do so much more. Jesus dived into His first ministry at such a young age of 30, and straight there on He keeps on releasing His miraculous power to heal the sick and cure the diseased. He turned water into wine, and He even brought the dead back to life.


How cool is that? The Jew's superman is undefeatable. He's stronger than any other superman ever created in fictive storytales. Unrelenting, yes, for the sinners. It's obvious that He has an extreme itch on the Pharisees. The great JC of Bethlehem, I say, is the epitome of superhero in any historical or mythical figure. But of course, if you compare it to any other storytale, JC possesses one huge weakness that is known by the devil and has been used to attack Him, over and over again.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Mark 10:45
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

So what's this superhero JC's greatest weakness? His love for humanity. That's why he's now "dead", crucified on that cross as sinners. That's why he went through all those humiliating and shameful condemnations. Cursed, spitted on, scorned, you name it. It's all because He simply loves humans, and He's already prepared Himself as a ransom for many. That's just how much He loves the world. A hot, passionate love that goes deeper than any measurable form of love you can ever imagine.

He's ready to save the world.

Romans 12:2
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Philippians 4:13
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

The great news is: We can be superheroes too! When we invite God to enter our hearts and mold our souls, we'll naturally be transformed from the inside. Not an instant change, perhaps, but a gradual, consistent modification of our brainpowers and intellects. His spirit will teach us to grow discernment, understanding, and prudence. He will also reveal to us the beautiful power of love and a compassionate heart. Knowledge, and wisdom, will be our daily breads. Trust and conviction will come by nature.

From there onward, our power will be built in a steady and consistent manner. We'll have more muscles and more confidence to face life challenges and hardships. The lame is cured. Broken soul is whole again. The frail becomes tough. The weak becomes strong. Everything, will be made perfect in Him.

Ephesians 3:20
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us..

God can do anything, you know, far more than whatever things we can ever imagine or guess or request in our wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around, but by working within us. He'll give away His spirits for free to reside in our souls, if we allow Him to.

That's why, come to God! Ask His healing power to bring miracles in your life. Test Him, if you wish, to see if His reality is factual. I did that before and God amazingly sent an angel to tell me that He hears my prayers, and He's ready to answer my doubts.

Like I said above, He's ready to save the world.
