Jesus, God, and The Holy Words

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He was with God in the beginning.

Through him all things were made;
without him nothing was made that has been made.

In him was life,
and that life was the light of men.
The light shines in the darkness,
but the darkness has not understood it.

John 1:1-5

In God, there is life. In God alone we can reach that light, which outshines any darkest pit and bottom.

Let's stop for a while and ponder:
Are we still residing in the darkness? Have we understood the Lord?

The Word has always been there. From the beginning of the time until now, the Word has always been with God, and the Word is God.

The Word has become flesh. Now, the Word has revealed its supremacy and authority in the world to us humans. For once, we could touch and witness the Word in the reality of flesh. The Word is no more a stranger, because it has chosen to make known of itself.

Christianity, is the only religion in the world that offers a simple solution of mortals approaching God. No hardcore stuff like celibacy, self-torture, newborn sacrificial rites, etc. There's only one way to be with God, and that is through Jesus Christ. The previously unknown God has revealed Himself through the Son, who comes down to the broken earth and live as mere mortal.

The Son speaks of God's wisdom. He does things according to God's will. His teaching is based upon God's law. His ways, is God's ways.

So are you still living in the darkness? Are you curious to find out more about God? Employ your mind and be active. Discover the truth, and discover God. Read the history of Jesus and Christianity, consider all the information, and judge for yourself, whether Christ is factual or not.

Understand the Word, dwell in it, and understand the Lord.
Let go of the darkness. Reach out to the light.

Note: For me that'll mean to read my bible everyday!

God bless :)
