God, for Pains

Happiness keeps me sweet
Trials keep me strong
Sorrows keep me humane
Failures keep me humble
Success keeps me glowing
But only God, keeps me going..

For us who have troubles on being patient and learning on the importance of waiting, restrain, self control, impulsiveness, etc.

Keep reminding ourselves that we are all in process, irrelevant of ages and backgrounds. People mature by choosing the path of hardships daily and learning to refuse short-term pleasures. No matter how good they might seem, what's really the benefit of painkillers when we can't cure the source of pain itself?

Why compromise the longer-lasting joy with the short-term's?

Romans 5:3-4
"... but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."

I personally believe that every one of us is in a growing process.

We love, yet we hurt those we love.
We deny hurt, yet we pain those who love us.
We wish for love, yet we fear to give the exact same love we desire.
It's absurd.

I have witnessed pain and the bitterness of revenge. It chains, binds, controls our souls with all its negativity and obsessions. We all get hurt, but what good does it bring to hurt those who've hurt us? How would their wrongs, be justified by our sweet revenge?

Matthew 5:44
"But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."

To love, is a decision of free-flow forgiveness. When we forgive, we forget. When we fear, draw strength from the Lord to help us get past the inflicted pains.
This is a daily (or even hourly) walk, through prayers and full understanding of our abundance in His love. I'd really encourage us who are hurting to gather the love we are lacking from the eternal source, rather than getting back at mortals. Embrace the momentary sufferings in exchange of a brighter future.

Ask God for a clean slate, and you shall be freed.

Matthew 7:7-8
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."

Matthew 21:22
"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."
