Office Wear 101: Pointy Heels = Pointy Brains?

So I've been extremely busy lately, and writing a regular post has been quite a tough challenge on my hectic schedule: Shuffling between work, blog, family and friends. I've just recently moved to Jakarta, right away after my last summer holiday in Sydney.

Yes, I'm a Sydney graduate. From the 2nd largest university in Sydney, UNSW, to be exact. If you ask why I chose to go back to Jakarta, it's because I love this city a lot, regardless of its... many things I dare not speak here. Sydney is very precious in my heart, she occupies a special place here. I love Sydney so much! It's just that I love my dearest hometown more. If only I can split my body into two halves.

Now, taking a rest from life's hassles and activities means ONLINE SHOPPING. I deeply bestow my highest esteem to those creators of online-fashion-search-engines. Polyvore makes my life (and yours?) so much easier.

I'm really into pumps lately. Not the super high heeled ones, just the medium height, for professional work purposes. Since I'm going to wear it all day long, comfort and durability are the biggest factors that I'll put into consideration. Seriously expensive shoes are out of options since my heart is too faint to be able to see and witness the pair of beauties die in front of my eyes, let alone caused by my very own feet! So forget about the likes of Louboutin, Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, etc. You know what I mean.

My perfect working shoes: Sharp point-toe and stiletto. As for the texture and pattern, any combination is okay as long as it still gives off the classy yet professional vibe. Colours are fine, I love colours. Then again, I'll try to avoid Miu Miu as much as possible since it's too cutesy. I'd wear one for a date, yes, but not office. Additional requirements: No sling-back, no block heels.

Guess which one's my favourite!

Valentino. Two-toned leather with ankle belt

Dolce & Gabbana. Red Marilyn suede court shoes

Jimmy Choo. Abel pointed patent leather pumps

Prada. Royal blue floral satin bow detail pumps

Alexander McQueen. Black flame leather pumps

Stuart Weitzman. Crystal snake point toe pumps

Lanvin. Split heel pump

Jimmy Choo. Agnes patent leather pumps

Stuart Weitzman. Daisy nude patent leather pumps

Diane von Furstenberg. Bang patent point-toe pumps

My fav is the orange Jimmy Choo! Oh and there's also an aqua blue version in Net-a-porter.

Which one is yours?
