Chloé Pre-Fall 2012 RTW

The ready to wear collection can be described in three words: Sleek, minimalist, and functional. The British designer astutely combine the oversize blazer and egg-shaped herringbone jacket with clothes on the other end of the scale, high-waisted pencil skirt and skinny cigarette pants.

The line under creative director Claire Waight Keller has been favoured by both the likes of models and working women. The collection is joined by menswear inspired trousers, partnered with clean-lined blouse which touches the feminine aspect of the whole assembly.

Claire said, "Women used to wear clothes for far longer, so it wasn't so specific or one-dimensional or focused on the look of a particular season... and that kind of effortless elegance is also very Parisian in a way." So Chloé.
